Words of love and support have been pouring in. We are very grateful for the kindness we are being shown during this difficult time. I have been given contact information for all of the Minnesota Congresspeople. I am posting that info below in case anyone wants to drop them a line. There is no new news on the status of the Permibus tho the Permibus Family is getting along as well as can be expected. We are trying to reach out to the Media and we are working with lawyers. Media and legal contacts are always appreciated. Please visit our website http://permibus.tripod.com//index.html to see more on the seizure and/or if you are interested in supporting the Permibus.
Thank you all so much!

Permibus

Perhaps you can convince Keith Ellison to threaten the sheriff that if he does not release the permibus then the chickens will come home to roost.
You may also wish to look for support from your own state's representatives as well. The local politicians in Minneapolis may be inclined to side with local law enforcement... but if you try for the "I thought you might want to know how Minnesota treats registered voters from your state." angle on your own representatives, you might get a more sympathetic advocate.

There's information in that article regarding free aid to those who've been arrested during the RNC for protesting, which could have been a reason why you got pulled over?

Good luck!!
